\nThe Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) provides modest funding for small-scale but high-impact projects in over 120 countries eligible for official development assistance. Our project will have a significant impact in the following areas: Women, Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Energy, Regional Development, and Economic Recovery.
\nThe project, covering the provinces of Adana, Hatay, Gaziantep, Kahramanmara\u015f, and \u015eanl\u0131urfa, is being implemented between August 15, 2024, and February 21, 2025, and includes both in-person and online workshops, capacity-building activities, and mentoring seminars.
\nOur goal is to equip women entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills necessary to adopt clean energy solutions, thereby contributing to sustainable development in their communities. Among these women, regional goodwill ambassadors have also been selected.
\nThrough this initiative, we aim to establish sustainable and innovative collaborations between Canadian companies and local SMEs. We hope that these efforts will also inspire other regions affected by the earthquake.
