NEW GENERATION

As the Energy Efficiency and Management Association (EYODER), we were a partner of the NEW GENERATION Project, which was implemented between September 15, 2017 – May 14, 2018 and successfully completed. The project was funded by the European Union IPA funds and the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU), with Özyeğin University – Center for Energy, Environment and Economy (EÇEM) as the implementing organization.

The aim of the project was to establish a lasting education culture in energy efficiency and to enhance energy efficiency literacy, particularly in vocational and technical high schools.

Key Activities:
Conducted energy audits in three vocational and technical high schools in Çekmeköy.
Developed workshops, guidelines, and training modules for students and municipal stakeholders.
Prepared an “Energy Efficiency Module” for 9th-grade vocational high school students (14 hours of theory, 12 hours of practice, 14 hours of individual work).
Produced recommendations for municipal zoning plans and developed a Building Renovation & Maintenance Guide.
