TEVMOT
The TEVMOT Project, to which EYODER contributes, is a project aimed at promoting energy-efficient motors in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Türkiye. Replacing inefficient electric motors used in industry with high energy-efficiency motors marks the beginning of an important transformation that will contribute to the Turkish economy with annual energy savings equivalent to 34 billion kWh.
The TEVMOT Project supports this major transformation in SMEs to encourage more efficient use of energy and a transition to a lower-carbon economy, while also providing guidance for technical consultancy and access to finance. At the same time, by promoting energy system efficiency, the project contributes to the goal of “Preventing Global Warming and Climate Change” and supports Türkiye’s efforts in combating climate change. To initiate this transformation, TEVMOT is carrying out pilot studies in 7 selected Organized Industrial Zones (OIZs).
